The technology has finally arrived. It seems 90 frames per second was the magic number to bring true visual immersion to head mounted displays. And now the first consumer-facing virtual reality headsets are shipping this month (March 2016). With self-driving cars, 3D printers, and machine learning breakthroughs on the horizon robots are positioned to overtake the jobs of many people in the not-too-distant future. So what jobs are safe? It’s hard to say for sure, but one sector I’m recommending to myself, friends, and family is virtual reality.
Virtual reality is in the position websites and personal computers (PC’s) were a couple decades ago. If you weren’t able to take part in the PC/Internet revolution now is the time to jump onboard the VR revolution. The playing field is clear and we’re all starting at zero. Literally EVERY industry has the possibility of being impacted by virtual reality. Imagine consulting with your doctor, touring a city or museum, going shopping for . . . anything, looking for a new home, playing out fantasies, and on and on – all inside a virtual reality headset. It’s possible now and as technology increases every year it will become more and more affordable and thus more widespread. Don’t waste time. Sign up for my free VR Business email list and start learning the necessary skills to take advantage of what might be one of the last industries that isn’t dominated by robots. I know it sounds weird, maybe intimidating, and probably a little scary, but that doesn’t make it any less true. You don’t have to be a genius to learn how to use virtual reality in your area of interest.
My other site called VRmakingmoney is all about teaching you how to make money with virtual reality. I’ll list products, resources, reviews, and ideas there. TOGETHER, we’ll discover what’s possible and eventually we’ll both be able to say “VR Making Money” (use your best Dracula voice), haha 🙂
